FEE: I agree to pay PTRG a fee equal to 35% of the first year’s tax reduction (savings) within 15 days of the official notification of reduction and invoice. In the event that I default on this payment agreement, I agree to pay reasonable collection/attorney's fees incurred by PTRG and 1.5% late fee per month. I understand that PTRG will not charge a fee if there is no reduction.
Tax reduction is calculated by multiplying the tax rate and the difference between the tentative and reduced assessment, less any exemptions.
Should my case require an appeal, I agree to pay a court imposed non-refundable filing fee of $30.
ELIGIBILITY: I understand that only the following are eligible under law to receive a tax assessment reduction and a property tax refund:
(A) a person named in the County records as a homeowner; or (B) that person's authorized agent; or (C) a person who has contracted to buy a home; or (D) the estate of a deceased homeowner, is eligible under law to receive a property tax refund.
By signing below, I hereby certify that I am one of the persons listed within the above four categories.
NOTIFICATIONS:
- I understand that I am not required by law to use a tax reduction service to apply for reduction in assessment, and that I can cancel this agreement by notifying PTRG within 3 days of signing this agreement, without any penalty.
- PTRG is an independent tax reduction service not affiliated with any municipality.
- I agree that upon engaging PTRG as my exclusive representative in an application for a property tax reduction, I will not create a duplicate filing with any other service.
- Sale of subject property does not void contract. In the event of a sale, I will be responsible to pay the PTRG fee, unless a transfer agreement in writing is signed by the new buyer and approved by PTRG.
